This client moved into a nice house, but the pool and landscape were dated and tired. Covering the old narrow concrete deck with ipe wood and revitalizing the pool created a more pleasant and functional entertaining space. There was a small, loopy spa where the Japanese maple and plantings are now (see "Before" photo). The deck was enlarged so furniture fits comfortably and people can circulate freely.
